OFFICIAL OPENING OF WHITTON PARK, GLENBROOK

It was great to represent Minister Stuart Ayres at the offical opening of Whitton Park, Glenbrook.

The Rotary Club of the Lower Blue Mountains have received a $50,000 grant from the NSW Governments ‘My Community Projects’ funding program to improve the Park’s shelter, as well as improved access for all abilities and refurbishment.

This has been a long-held vision for improved access and amenities with a new accessible concrete path connecting all-abilities parking to a renovated picnic shelter, with newly-installed accessible seating and tables.

I also acknowledged the Rotary Club of the Lower Blue Mountains President Michelle Ellery who has worked hard to organise the opening and advocated for this funding program for the improvements to the park.
