MEETING WITH VOLUNTEERS FROM THE RHODODENDRON GARDENS

I was very pleased to donate and plant a Rhododendron called 'Christmas cheer' and meet with the wonderful volunteers today at the Blackheath after announcing a $20,000 grant from the NSW Liberal Government to help them recover from the bushfires.

Today the Social Issues Committee inspected the Museum of Sydney, NSW State Archives at Kingswood and Elizabeth Farm at Parramatta as part of our inquiry into the state archives act and the proposal to merge the Sydney Living Museums and State Archives.
