Joined the Premier with Deputy RFS Commissioner Rogers to be briefed on fires in the Blue Mountains followed by tour of the fire grounds in Blackheath and Mt Victoria. HAZELBROOK STATION MARKS 60TH ACCESSIBLE TRAIN STATION UPGRADE

I was pleased to open Hazelbrook Station’s new accessibility upgrades. This is the 60th station upgrade our government has completed in the $2 billion public transport accessibility program. In the Blue Mountains, planning is currently underway to deliver accessibility upgrades at Lapstone, Faulconbridge, and Blackheath stations, and construction is also due to be completed at Glenbrook Station.  Continue reading

ABC FACT CHECK FINDS LABOR LIES ABOUT BUDGET CUTS TO FIRE SERVICES

Labor Opposition leader Jodi McKay MP has accused the Berejiklian government of cutting $40 million from the budget of our fire services. During a time where communities are watching on as their towns and homes are destroyed by fire Labor believe it is time to play politics. Friday, 15 November is AusMusic T-shirt day which raises funds for Support Act, a charity helping artists and music workers who are facing hardship due to illness, injury or some other crisis that impacts on their ability to work in music.The Parliamentary Friends of Music group, which I Chair, brought together Members from across the aisle in support of this great cause.
