ONE STOP SHOP BRINGS CONVENIENCE TO BOTANY

Minister for Finance, Services and Property Dominic Perrottet today officially opened the Service NSW one-stop shop in Botany, commending the centre’s staff on having already served more than 40,000 customers since doors opened in June. “Service NSW has revolutionised customer service when it comes to transacting with government in NSW,” Mr Perrottet said.  “The days of having to visit multiple locations for different government services are gone.  Now customers can access more than 800 transactions and services here at Botany, all under one roof.” In addition to motor registry services, the one-stop-shop provides counter services from agencies such as Fair Trading, Births Deaths and Marriages, Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing, Office of State Revenue and much more. Helping Badgerys Creek Take off

Our Planning Minister, Rob Stokes recently announced the creation of a new Priority Growth area around the planned future airport at Badgerys Creek. Mr Stokes said the establishment of the Western Sydney Priority Growth Area will involve a new strategic framework being set out to ensure future planning for new homes, jobs and infrastructure. “This is an exciting step forward in the future planning of Western Sydney,” Mr Stokes said. “Establishing this Priority Growth Area will maximise the economic and strategic benefits of the airport at Badgerys Creek. It will also help bring about the full benefits of the associated $3.6 billion infrastructure plan. “Through good planning, we can ensure we bring the full benefits of the new airport at Badgerys Creek to the people of Western Sydney and NSW as a whole.” Continue reading
