$4 MILLION FUNDING INJECTION FOR SYDNEY'S PRECIOUS PARKLANDS

Great announcement by Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Rob Stokes with more money to help local councils fund new public spaces as part of its strategy to increase green open space throughout Greater Sydney. 12 councils will receive, and then match, funding to deliver new and improved pedestrian and cycle pathways, parks and open spaces as part of the Metropolitan Greenspace Program. FAKE NEWS ON SCHOOL AIR CONDITIONING

More fake news from Labor this time on the school air conditioning program. I was pleased to highlight their failed approach on this Coalition Government program. NSW Upper House Liberal MP Shayne Mallard said "Labor seems to think we are simply popping down to Harvey Norman to pick up an air conditioner. In reality we are rolling out complex systems that include fresh air systems. These have to be skilfully retrofitted to many older style buildings. This usually involves power upgrades to the site. It's not as simple as Labor's Bunnings solution." Continue reading
